The day that people can no longer live in fear of losing their home because of outstanding medical bills, will be a better time indeed, but the only thing more heinous than taxation would be the unbridled greed of the "free" market - I.E. FOR PROFIT health care. For profit is fine if you are selling stereos, cars the size of buses, or yachts, but not health care. Until greed is not allowed to be a factor at all, we will not have anything resembling 'the best health care in the world".

@superbacon321 Calm down... here in Germany we also work as hard as you guys in the US and still wont have to spend all our money for health care. Either you pay something for what you want or you don't - simple as that.

Well let's see... we will pay about 17% more out of our paychecks. We will not get to use it for 4 years, yet we still pay for it during those 4 years. We will go to prison for 1 to 5 years if we miss 2 or more payments in any one year. Yes, it even violates the 13th Amendment for Involuntary Servitude. Guess we will all become Tax Slaves.

yeah, dude what health care system, you don't got one, you have "insurance", which means basically a big corporation that thanks you your freemarket, no rules market can charge w.e it wants, and pay out as much or little as they want (usuall on the side of nothin).....to quote somebody else "how come the u.s is the only country in the world that makes money off people being sick?"
