This animal was removed from a residential garden and released in nearby fields. The screech is in reaction to my Daughters camera clicking a shot

  • @TheSkunkCat

If not of course, especially their close relatives the zorilla's would be one hell of an example of convergent evolution. (Which is cool in it's own right.)

As for this particular little guy, it's adorable.

  • I wonder if they ever did any genetics research on these guys... Because I got this sneaking suspicion that Vormela (Marbled Polecats), Ictonyx (Zorilla's), Poecilogale (Striped weasels) and maybe Galictis (Grisons) might actually be part of the skunk family, rather then ferrets.

These guys certainly look skunk-like, do similar warning dances, and I've heard they can spray like skunks even.

  • why remove ???/

  • Relaesed hell! I woulda kept it as a pet and tryed to spoil it rotten! My GF's 7 ferrets woulda liked him.

  • CUTE! I would love to see on of these in person some day. What country is this? They are endangered, right?

  • Aaaah so adorable, I love you for uploading this!

Please post more if you have any :3.
