  • omg, that looks really good. the best part of camping is always the food for me - especially breakfast! nothing beats the smell of the bacon frying...coffee in the ole' percolator, eggs...hmmm! wow, you are very interesting...what region of the country do you like to camp in??

  • @a1angiem We are from the Pacific Northwest. It's one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. We are about 30 minutes from a series of high mountain lakes. I love to go camping out there.

  • Mmmmm mmm! I'm gonna attempt to make this next time I'm camping with the family, great vid!

  • @polluxtroy1972uk thanks.... The best part about filming a cooking show is eating the food that Hammer makes. This was no exception. By the way, I'm listening to Van Morrison right now.

  • @polluxtroy1972uk I'm glad you enjoyed it! You should check out out our tip on making the homemade corn tortillas. If you do not have a tortillas press, place the ball in-between two pieces of wax paper and use a rolling pin. The wax paper will help keep things under control. :)

  • not fair all i had was cereal and bolognia

  • One day I found a recipe for Cowboy Beans, that called for 1 pound of pinto beans, but I had culled 5# of beans and soaked them overnight. Luckily I had a #14 Lodge Dutch oven, made some calculations, adjusted the recipe and ended up with 3 gallons of cooked beans. I later found a recipe for chorizo beans and eggs breakfast. My first time using chorizo, now I'm hooked.

  • Really great vid, meal, hmmm I am hungry....real nice and fun... thanks.

  • That breakfast would get me going all right my butt hole that is..ha ha :D

  • The bacon was way too lean. We needed much more fat than what was going to render from that bacon. Had I cooked this at home, I would have used bacon fat, of course

  • question... If you had bacon in the pan what was the point of the oil?

  • Is this Owen Wilson? He sounds just like him... haha

  • entertaining and great food ideas...very nice. try a small yellow onion instead of purple.

  • Dude, what's up with the cheddar cheese?? You gotta do it right with queso fresco or manchego!

  • man that looks good, and eating outdoors makes your appetite more acute nice job, Cheers!
