Hacienda Dos Rios - Murcia, Negros Occ. 1/6

This is the FIRST of a 6-part video series, taken during our Christmas vacation in Bacolod, where we too visited Hacienda Dos Rios. One can hear the gasps of 'aaahhhs' from your's truly (am handling the camera!), as I slowly but surely 'internalize' the beauty of scenery before me... not to mention the cool weather & breeze, given it is December!

Dos Rios, aptly named so because of the twin rivers bounding the northern & southern sides of the12-hectare property of the Yunque-Thomas family union. Located in Murcia, Negros Occidental (just 20 minutes from Bacolod City), the Hacienda Dos Rios is owned by Mr. & Mrs. Michael & Nenuca 'Inday' Thomas. It has a commanding view of the Kanlaon volcano/mountain range.

Planted mainly with sugarcane, Dos Rios also boasts of rice fields & soon - its own self-sustaining, 'green' technologies, ie- vegetables & livestock (goat & swine) plus powered with 'green' Hydro technologies for irrigation & electricity requirements.
