He maybe has had steroids ...........

@hanaxcb and yes steeplechasing is an entirely different event. the horses used in steeplechasing, although may be the same breeds as used in traditional horse racing, are developed and trained farrrrrrrrrr differently than a typical racehorse as seen here.
-
@hanaxcb um. okay. my family has been in the horse racing business for years. i know what goes on in racing both on and off the track. and no, the colts and fillies that are "produced" for racing that arent used are NOT sent to slaughter because "they're not worthy for the track." Again, as I said in my previous comment, that would be a WASTE OF MONEY ON THE BREEDER/OWNERS PART. The horse will be tried in other disciplines and can always be kept as a companion animal if it comes to it.

-
oh, poor horse, it hurted it's back legs when jumping
-
I feel bad for the guy who caught him, getting stepped on/over (I couldn't tell) but dude, he had ninja skills.

@ffalcons102 yes but the horse has still been broken in and trained ! and no steeple chasing isnt *entirely* different it's still forcing a horse to run . but the *WORST* thing is on the race track you normally only see the shiny well bred horses , you don't see the literally thousands of colts and fillies that have been produced for the industry that just havent been used , they breeds thousands of foals in the hope to fine one horse worthy for the track ! sent to slaughter.
Okay, let's get something straight, here. A horse can fall at any time. barrels, poles, jumping, even out in the wild. Horse racing is what they call a "natural" sport. A horse runs, simple as that. I don't like the way they go, but i agree it is natural, and the horses like the running, if they don't, they'll let you know about it. Second, this horse wasn't wild. he could have back problems, mouthing problems, or just a shite rider who held him back to much. end of.

Holy that doesn't look like health problems that just looks like a horse who was a few fries short of a happy meal. He b lined it for the rail and when he couldn't get there because of the other horses he just said f you we're going anyways! I bet the rider is glad he came off when he did.
