A short tour of State Parliament House and Government House in Sydney N.S.W. End music written and produced by me using the NoteFlight composer editor. Sorry about the footage quality, conversion problem yet again.

  • well....this was so interesting, wayne!...thank you for sharing with us...and agree (w/other poster) the quality was fine and i enjoyed the music at the end...very appropriate! 5stars

  • Thx, Marissa, glad you liked it. I'm posting part 2 shortly. I did a tour of Hyde Park Barracks where convicts were imprisoned back in the early colonial years. Plenty of interesting artifacts like whips, ball and chain, padded cells etc etc.A sadist's delight...lol. :)

  • Interesting! Right before you said it, I was thinking, "That's just like in Canada!"

  • G'day Andreas. Yes our constitutional arrangements are basically the same as yours, being Commonwealth countries. It has it's benefits though i'll be glad when Australia becomes a republic. Good to hear from you, mate!

  • 3rd play here...rooftop garden at 6:32! :D

where I see the arcade is part of ze grand structure. Your quality looks fine.

  • Thx. The qualiy was better until I converted it to divX format to save space. YT needs to increase the file upload size to 200 mb, imo. If LV can do it...

  • LOL Actually I prefer gardens be let to grow wild and free but Govt House is very colonial in the English way so manicured everyhting is to be expected. The arcade is called the Queen Victoria Building. A superb example of Victorian architecture now fully restored. It's like walking through a museum while shopping. Glad you like the music, "buddy" lol, I think it works well with the images. :)

  • Thoroughly enjoyed, Saint. You know I could soak it all up all day long (the Queen'll never get an invite to my overgrown garden tho lol). What a rich step back in your history, thank you. What is the arcade building? Oh, and ze orange bottle-cap female sculpture noted at an appropriate musical point...very quirky playful 'Aussie' sounds there, mate :)

  • no I've never been, but I should, it's just pure laziness on my part ..

  • Now I payed you a compliment. I watched a few Australien TV shows lately and I didn't understand very well.

Anyway, I'm always impressed by the diversity of your continent; it's an interesting and amazing mosaic of different land forms. And so big!
