Canines Unleashed, a daycare for dogs

Canines Unleashed, in Liverpool, is a daycare for dogs where the dogs roam free under the supervision of human "pack leaders." Ann Liberati, the owner, said the facility is run a lot like a daycare for kids, with its structured schedule that includes activities and a daily nap, and a cubby for each dog. There are between 80 to 125 dogs who come to the daycare each day, separated into 3 groups, including big dog and little dog rooms. The key for all the dogs to get along, Liberati said, is to weed out the aggressive ones. In addition to daycare, Canines Unleashed also offers grooming, training and taxi services.
