Thanks so much for the info! I'm working on some a cupcakes tutorial now, but I'll be needing to have letters in the next couple of days-I'll have to go find a sharp pen knife to do it with. I'll post it as a response!

@CaveCanem90 Okay thank you - when I do make this cake & do a video, i'll post it here for you to see : )

I love the pink you used here. Are you using a gel food color or a liquid one?!
Ur cut outs are really precise mine always look jagged when I cut them. I think I need a better cutting tool for the small bits. I'd love to know which tool you used to get those done(I'm assuming you did a print out of the labels and blew them up to trace?).
I think this design would do well being stacked with other blocks. BRAVO on ur work!

@snoopypumpkin1 Thanks! I used Wilton Red (No-Taste) Icing Color (gel) to color the fondant. As for the letters, I just did a Google image search for each of the logos, copied them to MS Publisher, resized them to fit my needs, and then printed them out to use as stencils. I used a sharp pen knife to cut the fondant. I found that if I repeatedly wet the tip of the knife, it would slice the fondant quite easily. Give it a try, and post your results as a video response to mine so I can see it.

@mackandnorm I don't mind at all. I put it out there because I hadn't seen anything like it, and I thought it might inspire others to do something similar. Please do copy my idea, and then post it as a response to my video. I'd really like to see it.

what website did you find the logos on
mofay26 1 year ago
@mofay26 I found each logo by doing a search for each one on Google image search (eg, "Louis Vuitton logo", "Givenchy logo", etc.). Then I copied each image into MS Publisher and resized it to fit my needs. If you don't have MS Publisher, a word processor could do the same thing, though not as easily.
