@Falconis1 I don't know man. The whole band acts like they're burned out in this video- it could be lack of sleep or exhaustion but I have an inkling they all use psychedelics together lol

@almightyseancore I agree, he's far too coherent and aware to be on psychedelics in this interview ahahaha perhaps he's a little burnt out from drug use or as you said experiencing sleep deprivation. I know I get loopy in my demeanor when I'm running on no sleep

How come each time I view a Sleepytime Gorilla Museum clip on YouTube and I read the comments,nearly all the fans seem to be morbid geniuses. I’m glad to see a general intelligence amongst you people but I loath you all for being human, but you or I can’t change that.

I think some people get easily distracted by a person's unusual appearance or mannerisms. Those people can miss how incredibly insightful such people can be.

I laughed at about 8:15 in because I can totally relate to the "long awkward name" thing. My band had a shorter name until we discovered that several other bands already were using it, so we added on some extra words and now its like 11 syllables long :P.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that he is completely out of his mind on acid or peyote or whatever. Even if that were true, what difference does it make? His discussion is articulate and informing. The music made by Sleepytime Gorilla Museum is interesting and enjoyable. What is going on inside his head, a place that you or I can never inhabit, is meaningless to us. Only the artifacts of those processes have meaning to those of us who are not him.

Augbo, I noticed in your recent activity, you marked a Willie Nelson vid as a favorite. Willie is an admitted pot head, so if you're judging people based on thier consumption of intoxicants, you're being quite hypocritical.
You discluded yourself from intellectual discourse the moment you mentioned DOG. Trash TV at best. The fact that it's on A&E speaks to the true degredation of society.
If you spent as much time helping your neighbors as you do judging them the world would be a better place.
