This video is from an October 2008 broadcast on Global National News in Canada. It points to the need for a greater emphasis in high schools on lessons in money management.
The segment featured James Cunningham's Funny Money program, which focuses on encouraging today's youth to take a stronger interest in their personal finances and in their financial futures.
The Funny Money program is available for high schools across Canada. More information can be found at:

canadian children also need to stop being mollycoddled and spoiled by their pathetic parents. parents who spoil their kids go bankrupt, or in very poor financial health and they do not deserve to have children if they can not be firm. sometimes.

I agree with this. At school they teach us over and over again about STDs and stress and suicide awareness. Although that's important, finances are important no matter what walk of life you're in.
