- A decade after the death of iconic ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau, his widow and heir to his mission Francine Cousteau leads a new expedition to the Red Sea. Contrasts abound—this expedition sails aboard the futuristic Alcyone instead of the famous Calypso, Prince Albert II bids the crew farewell instead of his late father Prince Rainier, the Oceanographic Museum where Captain Cousteau served as Director has grown and modernized—but aquanaut Claude Wesly is a constant. The octogenarian Wesly took part in both expeditions, half a century apart.
-Dix ans après le décès de l'explorateur légendaire des océans qu'avait été Jacques Cousteau, sa veuve Francine Cousteau, héritière de sa mission, mène une nouvelle expédition en mer Rouge. Tout a changé : l'expédition se déroule à bord du futuriste Alcyone et non de la célèbre Calypso ; le Prince Albert II vient saluer l'équipage au lieu de feu son père le Prince Rainier ; et le Musée océanographique, dont le Commandant Cousteau était directeur, a été agrandi et modernisé ; mais "l'océanaute" Claude Wesly est toujours là. Cet octogénaire avait pris part aux deux expéditions en Mer Rouge un demi-siècle auparavant.
