I want only truth, know matter were it comes from! I'm so tired of the church games being played for the love of money! When your paycheck comes from the church you will bend that way, and so does the other side also, that's why I'll stay in the middle until someone proves it, one way or the other! I'm just like doubting Thomas, as Paine said, "I'm no better than he"! Let me put my hand in his side, and there is nothing wrong with that! Everybody talks, but no proof!

The Jefferson quote you show is saying a Christian has nothing to fear as God will hold up to any argument - I agree

To those claiming he was against Christianity Jefferson wrote his views were the: result of a life of inquiry & reflection, & much different from the anti-Christian system imputed to me by those who know nothing of my opinions.

True but like the great apostle Paul who said that preaching Christ crucified is foolishness to the Greeks - who believed in evolution - we need to first build the biblical foundation of a perfect creation (Acts 17) corrupted by man's sin that separated us from our loving Creator

Only then did the Greeks understand why they needed the sacrifice of our redeeming Savior, Jesus Christ.

All of this, and the fist promise of a coming Redeemer, is given in the first 3chapters of Genesis
