@TheJohnmontell But Jesus said do it in Matt 28:19. And then in v20 He said to teach them to observe what ever He commanded. Obey Jesus...be commision men and women. I'm more concerned about men baptizing women with bikinis on. I would've thought you Pentecostals would've noticed that.

it's because the word in the Greek language means submersion. also, when Jesus was baptized, the text says that He came up out of the water (Matthew ch 3)

Curious: Maybe I've missed somthing over the last 50 years since my baptism in Deep River, NC, but when did preachers/congregations start allowing women to be baptized in bakini swim suits? It gives a whole new reason to go to a river/lake baptism. Anyone care to explain? Thanks.
