The script was a waste of time, nothing but a teen slash movie. Terrorizing a maternity ward isn't scary, it psychopathic. The Hybrid was a joke. It's like no one knew how to make a movie. It looks like a school project. C-

I remember liking this movie, but it would never hold a candle to the original films. I did like the hybrid though, I thought that was cool. Also, I do agree it was way to dark and the only character that wasn't bland was the army mom and the guy coming into town. Still, I thought it was better than the first AVP, but def should've been handled by a real director. Great action, lousy characters, horrible lighting, cool effects. All in a, C-/D+. See it once or twice and your done.

I agree with him, the movie was too dark and no one cared about the human characters, they just wanted to see the predator whip alien ass which in all do honesty I wanted to see too.

im huge fan of both alien and predator films and games got all games and the total destruction movie back (has all alien and predator film besides predators bought that after it came out on dvd) but i have to say im disapointed in this film i mean first avp movie there was multiple predators and some got killed but in this one just one predator goes one man army on them i mean come on and not only that but bad acting i do like the predators new toys in this movie like the lasers on the wall and

For all its flaws I enjoyed AVP-R better than Alien 3* (*bar the Alien Dog design), Resurrection and Predators.

It was a fun, throwaway piece of Friday night action that I saw at the cinema and bought on DVD.

Regardless the film is 4 years old next month so. Lets be adults. Keep our opinions to ourselves. And move on ;-)
