@1dschamp There are problems with loose-fill insulation bulging walls when you do that, VERY few people have the balls to use foam, it will REALLY blow out some plaster.
Yeah my neighbor used it in his new house, average r-value in walls r-6 1-2" with open cell, and avg ceiling r-15 4" of open cell. House tested way too tight to be healthy, had the highest bills in the surrounding mile. FOAM IS FOR RETARDS.
I do like this type of insualtion. I live in Australia and many older homes do not have cavity wall insualtion. This type can be "squirted" into small holes to completely fill the cavity resulting in a superior level of insualtion compared to glasswool batts.
