  • Sooooo lovely! kheiliiiiiiiiiiiii ghashangeh Foroozan. I love her.

  • @keywan01 Gol Gofi Ay Gol gofti!

  • @CBfrmcardiff This is Forouzan an old Iranian singer/actress. The movie belongs to a class of films called "Film Farsi" in Iran mostly dealing with superfluous and shallow themes such as love stories between popular mucho men and girls of either modesty or as the case here "Dancer" and how they'd fight for each other. Other themes would include street fights, love/family/bully/crime revenges and of course comics.

She's praising the guy's and her own physique & charm with innuendos

  • @CBfrmcardiff This is traditional music and dancing for the lower class folks. The lyrics is about some supposedly tough guy who is really a clumsy, good-for-nothing wimp, it's comedy and it's nonsense. Tough men doing bullying and seeking fights nicknamed "the ignorants," by regular people, this song is about them. I have no idea what the film is about because I haven't seen it, I can only tell you that performer woman is hot as hell.

  • I've got so many of questions here - like, was this a result of Westernization/modernisation, or was dancing like this more of a homegrown tradition? I'm not Persian, and I've never seen the film, and so there are a number of mysteries for me about this clip. What sort of character is she playing here? What is she singing about? What was the 'message' of the film, or its plot?
