On the one hand, neuroscience refers to the body of knowledge (neurochemistry, neuroanatomy, neurobiology, neurophysics, neurology, neuropsychology, psychoneuroendocrinology, psychoneuroimmunology, cognitive science, experimental psychology and others) that encapsulates the functions and structure of the nervous system. The nervous system consists of two parts: the CNS (Central Nervous System) and PNS (Peripheral Nervous System). In short, many neuroscientific research papers focus on the brain and its mechanisms.

On the other hand, animation is essentially a collection of slightly different drawings. When the (voluminous) collection is played in a fast sequence, the figures, characaters or anything else depicted, appears to be moving. Thus, animated movies could be interpreted as a psychological illusion.

Perhaps, stick figures represent the easiest and most common way to portray a human being. The are used in many images and pictorial presentations, such as road signs. More related, similar and different stick figure cartoons can be found here: http://neurosciencetv.blogspot.com/2011/09/stick-figures-cartoons.html.
