r4 cards are not fake just take different kernels

That R4 CARD you have and might think is FAKE check this video out as i have 2 different type`s and from the research that i have done it look`s like one of them is the old model and the other one is newer i have removed both sticker`s off the front of the R4 cards and happy to say i have NO funny looking chip sticking out but one of them has a little white dot were the other one has nothing but i got these on the same day the one that supports SDHC worked first go BUT the other one does not support SDHC would not work now i have found a fix and now both cards work 100% please check out the vid any comment or questions please leave message and i will try and help out

You can't get real r4s anyway now days the team stopped making them I got a clone and was pissed because the kernel for the real r4s didn't work with mine but in the end I found a website with a whole page full of kernels for fake r4s and found one that worked :)

i wish this was the case for my R4 card. for some reason, it frozed while I was saving for Pokemon, and then my 2 Gb SD card got corrupted and I couldn't format it, so I thought fuck it, and bought a 4 gb micro SD card, been trying whole night trying to install Kernel V1.11 to V1. 38 on my R4 card, none of them have solve my problem, remains on loading screen. so mad.

Okay, I have a DS lite (Silver) and the R4 works on it ONLY with 4GB microSD card!! The black (older) DS lite I have works with both 2GB and 4GB microSD card.
The R4 I have is R4 SDHC and the firmware is v1.34. You can download it here:

@points2shop2 I finally got it to work! you should put in the video that they only take SD cards. NOT SDHC. that was my problem
