[Request] Lunastra and Teostra with LS

Hello !
Some of my subscribers asked for a lunastra and/or teostra guide with Longswords.
Well Here it is.
I mixed both monsters in the same video since they are almost the same.
Main differences are :
1 - color
2 - teostra is faster
3 - teostra does more flame based attacks and they are stronger
4 - lunastra does more melee attacks and charges
5 - lunastra's fire aura is more powerful

About the technique, I do recommend to attack the head. You'll see in the video that this is not more dangerous than something else, and you'll do a lot more damage.

About my equipments :

1 - Lunastra's part :
First thing first, i want you to know that I could only record a High Ranked Lunastra at this time, so I took appropriate equipment. But don't worry, it's exactly the same as elder monster.

armor set : Full Lunastra ( regular one )
Weapon : Weiss Crescent ( 960raw, 260water, blue sharpness ) --Monoblos LS--
The armor gives me reckless abandon +1 and anti-theft. ( also guard +1, but Ls can't guard XD )

2 - Teostra's part :
Elder didn't propose me teostra, so I fought the one in the gathering hall, HR3. It is the same, except for the HP. ( Gathering hall = more HP )

Armor set : Full Black belt
Weapon : Devil Slicer ( 720raw, 450thunder, good green sharpness )
The armor set gives me sharpening skill increased and sharpness +1 ( Devil Slicer gets blue sharpness with that ). It gives also capacity up, but it is for gunners only

3 questions:

1. When Lunastra came to area 6, on 0:24, how come she doesn't have her fire aura? Did you poison her first, or did she really not have it?

2. Will the LS Frost Ripper work on Lunastra in High Rank (felyne elder)?

3. How much defense are in each armor, and how many altogether?

@stormbladecolling It is not rare, there are 2 different quests for Teo, one in the volcano, and one in the desert.

You should take the dark blade, but bring an armor that gives either sword sharpener or sharpness+1.

eskalial u noe if u break lunastra/teostra's horns if u die and been removed from the quest u can just go fight her again and her horns are still broken

@Querpecoman Like Eskalial says, Tigrex Tooth will work. Just watch your angle, if you're only on green sharpness and you clip the wing going for the head, you bounce. Its worse with Teo cuz his swipe has so much more range, he generally nails you with it if you bounce there.

@Leafall Additionally, if you get an armor set with Terrain Damage Negation, like full Kushula armor, you won't take any damage from the flame aura.

Why did you use Devil Slicer against Teo??
