Vadu has bad audio. But has better color then Flip. It kind of like you have to pick what yo want more better picture or better audio.

The vado did have average sound quality but my version was not the HD model so maybe they improved it. I really like the Flip HD and have logged hundreds of videos (use it for all my videos on project gadget). Once i got the flip i never went back and now need a 1080 camera! thanks for commenting.

I would be interested in purchasing that Vado from you. I am a Type 1 Diabetic and I started doing some informational VLogs about the disease. Check out the videos I have done so far. Horrible quality and sound all shot on a FujiFilm traditional digital camera. So that is why I think you should considered selling your Creative Labs cam to me ;)

Hi Lou, glad it helped you decide. Like you, I saw many videos and asked people to make sure I was making the right decision. The only regret I have is that the new one is a bigger screen but other than that it's the same thing. I would only buy the HD model as the clarity shows in my current Project Gadget Videos. You should definetly get one as its great to have with you for quick videos. A new one just came out so the HD version should be dropping in price. One cool feature i found out later was that after you take your movies you can use the editor in the Flipshare software and join films together with an MP3 track. When done you click share and it sends to the Flip site and you can share with your friends or post to youtube. Have fun!
