Lyrics to my absolute favorite song from the awesome band, Pink Floyd..."Hey You". From their 1979 album, The Wall.

The song was recently featured in the film, Due Date. The scene was perhaps my favorite in the whole movie

*The scene in Due Date that plays this song (Uploaded by me)
*The Deleted "Hey You" scene from the film (Uploaded by me)
*"The Trial" video from "The Wall" that features the "Hey You" Hand (I would have uploaded myself but it has questionable content and I didnt want to get into trouble)

  • Doesn't the beginning sound like call of kthulu by metallica?

  • @mrmusic931 Now that you mention it...It kinda does =P

  • Whats the background picture of ?

  • @NationXuG A deleted scene from the movie, The Wall. "Hey You" never made its appearance in the film and this picture is from the "Hey You" section that was cut out. I chose this screenshot of the deleted scene because the final edit of the film still had this hand clawing at the ceiling for a single frame during a different song. This scene is pretty infamous for its inclusion in the film because of that

  • what does this song mean? is there any deeper meaning to it. other than getting high? lolz

  • @ryanlikesdietcoke Technically no, lol. Its about how you feel when your high and how gone your mind can be

  • this is so fucking good!

  • I'm a big Pink Floyd fan, but I really started to feel this one when I saw due date.

  • 9 people spit on sunny

  • I must ride in the whip to this windows up and you know what....

  • amazing incredible song.

  • @Euphonio100 You have clearly misinterpeted the song. It's about the character Pink from The Wall isolating himself from the real world after building an emotional wall throughout the first half of the album. Go and listen to The Wall from beginning to end and read the lyrics while you do it. You'll understand that it's not about drugs but an expression of Roger Waters frustation with people drinking and taking drugs at concerts not giving a shit about the music, going there just for the buzz.
