OnLive Interview with Andre Srinivasan (Product Manager) :: EuroGamer Expo 2011

We were there to witness OnLive's official UK launch in Earls Court last month. Unsurprisingly as the doors opened that day the excited crowd raced to the luxurious OnLive booths to check out the system. We were also lucky enough to get free OnLive systems that day - too which we are very grateful. to be honest, he's getting a lot of things wrong. Deus Ex for example isn't free to play for 30 minutes. I sense a bullshit....

Very good interview. I think with MMORPGs it really doesn't matter with how much it can handle. As the guy said, it's all done in their data center, so even when playing online against 1 or 100s of people, the multi-player is handled there and you just get the video stream your way. OnLive looks good but the majority of UK households probably don't have fast enough broadband for it yet.
