It's sad..That we can only see good show's like this On DVD or Youtube.. This show can never be copied like these great people did it....The best of the best.

I used to do this with my nieces and nephews when they were learning to speak.

There are two versions of this sketch. Was one of them made after they moved to NBC?

It's important to remember that 'good' comedy, like 'good' music, is relative. For example, Howard Stern is considered a comedic god by millions, but I'm not one of them. Comparisons don't serve anyone--it's like comparing blue to green, and trying to determine which is more beautiful, or important, or which best stands the test of time. If you don't like green, don't color with it. If you don't like Andrea Martin, don't watch her. No need to bash, just enjoy what makes you happy. Peace!

@RosemaryVnestor Respectfully, the mark of great comedy is its longevity. CO and AM (who both wrote for SCTV) are cited as influences by many of today's comediannes, and opened the door for women like Tina Fey. They helped make SCTV greatly popular, and considered, in many circles, better written/performed than the fledgling SNL (Second City has been around for over 50 yrs, btw). TF is a genius, but that doesn't take a THING away from AM. Don't believe me? Watch more than one 2 minute clip. :)

I don't know how Catherine O'Hara could pull off so many looks and so many characters. So beautiful.
