  • hey

1)between the start and the finish line are about 2-3 seconds. look at the video, he starts a few hundreds later as they stop the time at the end.

2)what they forget to say ist that the lap was on racing wheels and who knows what they do at the engine.

  • look at other timed laps of the Ring - you'll see that all laps start and stop at slightly different places. It's so that after the 'hot' lap the car can enter the pits without doing another lap.

the GT-R was lapped at 7.29s on the standard Dunlop rubber that customer cars come with. Dunlop has the tyres on display at their Japanese HQ. Who knows what anybody does to the engine? Ring times aren't independently verified from a technical aspect. Doubts about Nissan must be the same for Porsche.

  • What's your evidence for the propaganda claim?

How many times do Porsche or Corvette have to repeat a lap of the Ring to be believed? And I'm sure they don't invite a big audience to verify it, but when they claim a fast time, nobody questions it. Weird.

Every track test by the press of GT-R v 911 Turbo has GT-R faster, but still doubts remain about Nissan's claim of 7.29s. Seems like snobbery. I guess it's hard to accept that a new, Japanese supercar has beaten the old favourite...

  • @kenzoyur Porsche Gt2 is harder to drive at limit and more rewarding when you drive it

  • @kenzoyur I am sorry if you're buying a car for Nordschleife time...

  • Jeeez it was too many dangerous moments I see...

  • Tires in the corners sounds like a chicken... :D Or maybe it was the driver? :D

  • amazing car, amazing!! Unbelievable that they can do such a lap with a 1,8t car!! Big respect!!

  • Do you not watch Top Gear fendero123 ? This car is a mechanical / engineering masterpiece. It can pull amazing G's through corners.Infact whilst Jeremy Clarckson tested one it was pulling so much G force through the corners he hurt hid kneck and had to be taken to hospital. That`s why the lap record was legit.

  • please can somebody explain to me how this is possible?!?!?! but before you start flaming. I like that car A LOT but i can't point out how this "rather" heavy car can be so fast in corners and so agile. it's just amazing

  • @FRANKFURTFRANKFURT well, as each gtr engine is hand built, there is no "standard" engine output, you could buy one tomorrow with 450bhp, or it could have 520, so this one could have 550 or 600 and it would still count as standard. Nissan does not specify a bhp figure for the gtr, it just has "ample" .
