  • At first I had a hydor submersible under gravel heater, but it wasnt keeping it warm enough. Right now I have 2 peppermint shrimp, oto algae eater...and another nano fish that I can't remember the name of at the moment

  • Yes, i do have a heater...i'll take a new pic soon...it just wasn't in at the time of the original pix...cause i didn't have fish in there at this time...

  • Also...i thought about a ADF, but since this tank dorsnt have a top, it would only ba matter of time until the little guy escapes. I do have 3 cherry shrimp in there tho...they r very fun to watch

  • So I used black CarribSea sand. The only problem with sand is using a gravel cleaner to vacuum it out. So far I haven't had any problems.

  • I've had my chi for 9 months now and I'm about done with it. It's constantly losing water because it has no lid, as well I've had two fish in the last week jump out of the tank for the same reason. Plus there is a constant haze once you put fish in it. That may be from needing live rocks or something, IDK.

  • Where do I get black sand

  • looks like that bookshelf you have it on is about to give way lol. press/ particle board will give way if it gets wet. telling this from experience lol.

    Cheers nice tank

  • whats that purple light?

  • glow fish would look cool in that nice modern fish tank and all how good is the fluval filter on that fluval chi fish tank

  • I just bought this tank. I like it alot Is this the 6.6 gallon? And what kind of plant do you have in there?

  • What's in it

  • I have a hydor mini heater that is submersible under the gravel and love it!
