  • I like the theme music in the video.

  • Complete with cheesy 80's music. Classic

  • Norm Stewart had some GREAT teams. They should have won a championship and made a few final fours.

  • Doug Smith was a BUST, big time with Dallas.

  • This year was the beginning of Texas being a consistent tourney team. Before 89, they really didn't make the big dance that much.

  • Won't see this matchup in the 2nd round anymore.

  • Your right but I hate when players leave early.

  • Actually, if you remember, it was after his junior year when everyone thought he should have come out. After his sophomore year he still wasn't a major prospect. His athleticism was ridicoulous especially his sophomore year it seemed.

  • Doug Smith was a STUD of a player. I thought he was going to be great in THE NBA. He should have left the NBA after his Sophomore Year. That 1989 Missouri Team was a damm good team. They got screwed against Syracure in the SWEET 16 game. Bad officiating.

  • Doug Smith was the #6 pick in draft. He was 6'10 and ran the floor like Amare but was more skilled. He was the best 6'10+ athlete I've seen before people like Garnett came along. I saw about every game he played at Mizzou. If you can find his footage from college it was crazy. He gained 40 lbs. after draft and never panned out
