Aliwan Fiesta 2010: Pasaka Festival (Tanauan, Leyte)

Among Runners-up of Aliwan's Street Dance Competition. Performed by the students of the Tanauan National High School.

Paolo Bediones, Julia Clarete, and KC Montero will present Aliwan Fiesta 2010 through the eyes of stereotype characters in todays society when the television special produced by SFX Productions for Manila Broadcasting Company, airs over TV-5 on Sunday, May 23 at 9:30 p.m.

Paolo will exemplify todays information-savvy youth, while Julia personifies a carefree, urban city dweller, and KC a Fil-Am balikbayan all of whom are out to learn more about their country through the annual festival.

The trio will take viewers on a visual narrative of the Filipino fiestas numerous components, as showcased by each of the participating contingents.

Directed by GB Sampedro from a script by Aldenroi Copuyoc, the Aliwan Fiesta telecast will also be replayed over RHTV (Dream Satellite Channel 10 and Cable Link Channel 9)

looking back through the humble beginnings of tribung tanaw.,i can say that their many years of exerting efforts really have finally paid off..they've made it to aliwan and showcased an amazing performance..and it makes me proud being a tanauananon..

i think one reason why they did not make it to the top 3 is because the music was not able to match the energy of the choreography and the dancers..but it was still a great performance..congratulations..
