Milwaukee Teacher Cuts Student's Hair? What Would You Do?

A Milwaukee Public Schools teacher is issued a ticket for disorderly conduct after cutting a 7-year-old girls braid to stop the child from playing with her hair during class.

Lamya Cammon, a first grade student at Congress Elementary said her teacher called her to the front of the class and cut her hair. Lamya also said the other children laughed at her as she cried.

When Lamyas mother arrived on campus the teacher said frustration lead to her actions.

The school district has not fired the teacher and are still investigating.

Lamya was placed into another classroom.

The State Lawmaker in Milwaukee, WI has sent orders to the School District in Milwaukee to have the Teacher Fired.

The school has no choice but to accept the orders from the State Lawmaker so it's good news.

That teacher who gives Teachers a bad name will be fired.

the mother seemed calm and reserved that doesn't make her not caring, makes her level headed. and that is a child of what 5. white girls play with their hait all the time. when black girls play with their hair when they have beads, it;s because it shakes. not often little black girls can shake their hair, in it's natural state. The child was not doing it out of malice. the teacher over reacted. She obviiusly does not know how to deal with children. she could have just put her hair in a bun
