how many hours did you spend doing that dot thing, because it looks like i complete waste of time when you could just make and even layer which is not that hard at all

@MadnessToMyEars it didnt take as longs as u would think. i would say less than an hour. the reason i do it that way is because that's how i've seen it done. also i find when i try to take a chunk of clay n just smack it on the whole sculpture comes out with varying thicknesses. plus the dots just makes it easier for me
