In fact it is not really an experiment, it is only to say good bye to the camera . Our prototype uses 4 servos (one per movement), a servo controller (www.endurance-robotics.com) and 4 sensors pasted over a glove (it is only part of our motion capture system, It's possible to take till 64 movements with it : (http://www.laidetec.iimas.unam.mx/index_archivos/Page485.htm ). Now we are building he whole arm using 17 Dynamixel servos (www.robotis.com).
