uh.. i really didn't like this at all.. i guess cuz there are two of them... and don't even try to say "lemme hear u sing that part" cuz guess what im papa ge this year in my play and i think that it sounds way better as a solo

That's nice to hear, you don't have to be an ass about it. We all have our own opinion. Maybe as an actor you need to step outside of the "I did this role" and see it as a new thing. I had to do that for Macbeth since I was the 1st witch and watched how other people played her.

The Hamronies are not supossed to sound nice together, it's dischorded on purpose to make it sound different and harsh, like the characters themselves. They sing 5ths and 4ths throughout most of the show.

Just came across this Video, I know it's been years but I felt the need to comment. The two Papa Ge's were a bit odd for me, but hey it's a directors choice. I did like that the gave both Ti Moune and Young Ti Moune knives to go after Daniel. The end note was way off for me though, I love that powerful belted note that is brought to a screeching halt by Ti Moune's "I can't"

so they sound ok but having 2 papa ges at once is weird and it looks disgusting... if this show was double casted they'd do well individually on different nights but I don;t think anyone should EVER do this!

These two play their part very well, I think. They work together and their voices are well matched too.

i really really really liked it starting at the papa ge lines that alternated, and the end with erzulie and everything was AMAZING, but i didnt really like the beginning. i LOVED ti moune's scream.

there's a difference between makin it harsh and makin it suck.. if u wanna make it sound creepy and harsh and devilish.. use a minor scale instead of using 4ths and 5ths on a major scale.. and if the director or composer did do the harmonies in a minor scale then he did them mighty wrong
