@1conorrocks Motorhead were one of the centerpieces of the NWOBHM... Lemmy can make a statement like that as a homage to his own idols and influences and to reject labels, but that doesn't make it a fact. Motorhead is heavy metal, incorporating elements of speed metal and punk into the style of earlier British heavy metal acts like Sabbath and Zeppelin.
