IMHO:

Scot Storch no doubt one of the best producers, never mind the drugs and the bankruptcy, we all go through tough times, I wish he would recover and come back hard.

Timbaland reached a great deal of success but could not sustain it, so had to steal others music...not good, but still a hit maker no denying.

Also, some producers mentioned here rely heavily on ghost producers

A top producer list is not complete without [at least] Pete Rock, J Dila, Danja, [Patrick Leonard]...to name a few.

My 2 cents: No disrespect to anyone, but the way scott storch does his keys on STILL DRE and on U KNOW by dre and xzibit is next to nothing, it's plain...incredible. Dre is excelent, and Timbaland is good. The rest are just good producers and that's it, nothing more. SCOTT STORCH is absolutely incredible on some tracks, nobody will ever imagine how he did the piano things on U KNOW and STILL DRE. period. No one.
