Italy- 2006 World Cup champions (PART 1)

OK, it's kind of a long story, but this is a video that I started way back in July of 2006, fresh off the high of seeing the homeland of my parents capture the World Cup, and over the next year pieced bits and pieces together and finally completed it in about July of 2007. I still vividly remember the tears of France '98 (damn you, Di Biagio) and the Screwjob of 2002, which made 2006's victory all that much better.

However, I was most dismayed when I found out that the Youtube video Nazis prohibited the uploading of vids over 10 minutes long. Bet you anything this gets deleted for insulting them, but anyway. So it just floundered on my hard drive for ages, until this afternoon I finally gave in and chopped it up into 3 bits to share with the world. The Nazionale may have fallen upon hard times as of late, but I believe the 4 World Cups and one European Championship speak for themselves. =) Only Brazil can claim to be better, and only Germany can claim to be our equals- but not very convincingly, not having beaten Italy since well, well before I was born.

In conclusion.... Forza gli Azzurri. And Lippi, call up Cassano and Giovinco and drop flippin Legrottaglie already, please.
