in the BBC Documantary Brian and Roger says this was the last record of Freddie, he didn't completed.. Last verse was sung by Brian, but try to imagine those words from Fred's voice. Another meaning..

20 years now without his magic. Men like these should be physically immortal, but he is eternal through his songs now. A true talent that will never be forgotten. I remember last year reading his husband's book, Jim Hutton, at the very end of it where Jim describes his last moments I got that feeling of emptiness and sadness because I got so into their lives and the final moments together that I just went back in time in my mind and cried along wishing the end was different. RIP Freddie & Jim.
My god, I keep listening to this song and just can't wrap my mind around the idea that this man was literally DYING as he was singing this song. He was DYING yet he still sounded as crisp and sharp as ever!
INCREDIBLE!

He was actually dying when he sang this. He died before he could finish it which is why Brian May sings the last verse. He wanted to make as much music as possible befoe he died.
He kept singing until he got so sick he was physically unable to do so. It begs the quesion what would you do if you had say.. only a few months left to live? I wouldnt want to just lie in bed wating to die that's for sure.
Freddie sang until he couldnt sing anymore :(
