My favorite (and first) black metal album. Darkthrone is the band that inspired me to make black metal. Amazing band.

i love darkthrone. my favorite band now. i love this record but to be honest i hated this the first time i heard it in 93-94(I FOR GET WHEN IT CAME OUT) i didnt buy it and then years later i bought and realized it is fucking genius

Drums were never fucking important...
I love the last couple of Darkthrone albums and I´m glad he obviously changed his mind. TH remains a unique monument, though.

@godofmetal712 I would say Transilvanian Hunger. I still like A Blaze In The Northern Sky best though. Transilvanian Hunger has a few vocal contributions by Varg Vikernes, which is kinda cool.
