Use System Restore and Recover your Windows

In Windows XP and Vista you can use the System Restore feature to make a backup of your system files at a specific point in time. Use System Restore to create checkpoints in case your system gets corrupted or has problems because of a recent change you might of done to Windows.

Hey, help mee.. i have no clue what happened.. i tried to reformat and restore my pc.. but when i put in any disc, it just reboots itself.. or this method.. just reboots itself..

Does system recovery work on getting rid of viruses???

if i get spyware etc will this delete them???

The best thing to do with System Restore is to just turn it off. It's rarely much help in fixing problems, and by default is set to use 12% of hard drive space. That's a lot of disk space that could be used for something else.

I can't use restore from the.But i know you can do it from pc start up but i don't know what button to press to start it.Any help?

hi quick question! if i do use system restore and go all the way back to the date i got my computer (the day it was working perfectly fine b4 now) will it delete all my photos, videos, and etc. or no? im just curious cuz i was bout to start movin stuff 4rm my computer to my old one til i got done wit the system restore. :)

@PCWizKid Hey uhh..Can you help me a little? It says system restore incomplete when i try to recover from an upgrade which caused my system to be slow like hell,and i can't even type fast like i used to. It takes about a second for the letters to appear,and they aren't as fast as they used to be.
