McCain and Roskam - On Veterans

Sorry to say that McCain is slipping. This generation of military has lowered entry standards, takes ex-felons, non high school grads, 42 year old first enlistees, etc. We all support the troops (UNTIL THEY BECOME VETERANS) but it's unfair to veterans (as always) to say our military today is better, and composed of a higher quality soldier, than before.

Soon, our brave troops will wake up to find they are not sacrificing themselves for the country they love, they are sacrificing themselves for Big Oil, Dick Cheney and Halliburton, and the War on their own children's personal Freedoms. Children who are scheduled to be slaves in their own country, if the Neo-Cons have their way.

US politics have hit the rock bottom and started to dig.
I have lost all respect for McCain for campaigning against the Iraq war veteran. He should have known better after he had been dragged through mud in 2000.

McCain met Duckworth at Walter Reed when she was recuperating there. He praises qualities in people like Duckworth and then lauds Roskam for qualities he doesn't have, doesn't even claim. It'd be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

"THIS GENERATION OF MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE SERVED ARE THE VERY BEST OF US" He must mean Tammy, 'cause Rotscum didn't go.
