what if the number + the number before equals to more than 10...... example : 98733 x 11. i got the last 3 digits correctly but the remaining......failed! =)

what is the precondition required so that this trick works? what about when we add the number the result is more than 10? example : 783 x 11

omg! thats not amazing! u just simply split 11 into (1+10), which means u just multiply the first number by ten and add the original number! thats it, no big deal. shame on u show this stupid trick to everyone, u have to understand why you can use this trick, not just memorize it! LOL

thx it really worked but i tried from 51-99 i have to add the number with the last. for example. 85x11=935 not 8135.. i have to add 8+1 to get the ans.
