  • wow, "shirah=515=tefilah (song=prayer)....the essence of prayer is song, the essence song is actually prayer".

This is a beautiful dvar torah showing us the essential nature of our souls: that song and prayer are the 'joy' of our soul.

in chassidic dimensions by shochet it says that joy and love of Gd are one and the same.

reb trugman makes a beautiful, poetic statement here encouraging us to more deeply feel the value and importance of song throughout out lives!

    yasher koach!!!

Song in some ways a more powerful form of expressing our inner thoughts than speech. Rebbe Nachman of Breslev encourages us 2 sing many Zemirot, especialy on Shabbat. Singing mitigates decrees (LM 1 42). Through Song & Joy one can guard & preserve one's memory and will come 2 bear in mind the World 2 come (LM 1 54:12) etc...

    Thank U & Yashar Ko'Ach.

    Best wishes.

  • It is very true that song expresses a deeper level of soul than speech. That is part of its mystical power.

    All the best.

  • So glad you like this video too! This idea is one of my favorite Gematrias. It reaches the depths of the soul.

    All the best!

"It is good 2 make a habit of inspiring ypurself w a melody. Great concepts R contained in each Holy melody & they can arouse your heart & draw it towards G_D. Even if U can't sing well, U can still inspire yourself w a melody sung 2 the best of your ability when U R alone. The loftiness of melody is BEYOND measure... (R Nachman's Wisdom)
