Death Knight AoE

The Death Knight has some interesting AoE Capabilities that are unlike any AoE currently in the game. They involve a lot of micromanagement but seem like they can be highly effective. So I thought I would give the good ol' "pull all of SM Cath" a go.

Now aside from Death and Decay, Death Knight AoE revolves around their diseases. By using Pestilence they can spread their diseases to nearby targets, and as of Beta build 8962, there is no target cap. Once the disease is spread you can use Blood Boil to "pop" the diseases for extra damage. In addition, there are talented abilities like Corpse Explosion and Howling Blast as well, or Hungering Cold, however this was done with an Unholy spec build for single-target DPS, and has neither of those abilities.

As you can probably tell I manage to kill everything, but barely. The thing is, these mobs are such a low level that they die before you really get a chance to spread your diseases. That and I'm still pretty nubbish with the Death Knight!

The hands was the graphic on pestilence that was used up until very late in the beta
