I disagree with you on this being one of the best Lucy shows... I thought this was one of the weaker episodes because Lucy constantly interrupting Wayne's filming because she believes it to be real got annoying for me. I noticed as the series progressed that Lucy's character became "dumber". Lucy was never DUMB, her scheming was actually quite clever, it just always backfired.

I understand your annoyance with that scene and Lucy certainly was not dumb. I? wrote that it was one of my favorites because I liked John Wayne's appearance and I found the scene in the cafeteria between Lucy and Wayne to be very funny.
