"Against the Odds" is the story of the 1991-1992 Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins. This was the Pens 2nd Cup victory in a row. The video includes the history of the club starting in 1967 and continuing up until the 1992 Stanley Cup celebration at Three Rivers Stadium.
Mario Lemieux once again won the Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP despite playing with a fractured wrist after Adam Graves' slash in Game 2 of the Patrick Division Finals.
The Penguins won 11 games in a row to clinch the cup victory. To clinch the Cup, the Pens beat the Blackhawks 6-5 in Game 4 at Chicago Stadium, in an old-fashion wide-open game.
