  • It hurts me that it's so easy to manipulate the public with just a stupid TV series that always shows tortures morally acceptable at the end of the day.

In the real life thousands of random, innocent people have been tortured and killed in most cruel ways. At the end of the day, overwhemling majority of them was neither terrorists nor insurgents (Taguba report, Janis Karpinski words etc.).

  • The only way to defeat terrorism is to refuse to be terrorized. People need to "wake up" to the possibility of a nuclear attack? Fear-mongering like this is the definition of terrorism.

  • This shit is just disturbing, it proves that the terrorists have already won. They've scared us to the point where some of us are actually reconsidering such basic and essential things the ban on torture that has stood in nearly all western countries since the early 1800s. We resolved this issue ages ago, torture doesnt work, because the subject will say anything you want to hear to make the pain stop. Even if he doesn't know anything he'll make up something!

  • of course this is by fox news...

  • I can't believe that anyone could ever think that torture is ok, under any circumstances. we're better than that, people.

  • @possibledrew Right because our country is impenetrable and we are invincible. It is impossible to ever attack the United States. Our country is immortal and nothing can bring it down.

  • glenn beck actually belives wat bush says....even after bush lied about WMD in iraq and its connection to al queda???

  • The government does much worse things to people (even American citizens) than any of the torture ever depicted on 24. You don't even have to be a terrorist for them to have reason to torture you.

  • @baguazhang2 i wouldnt hold my breath since u.s. incarcerates more people than any other country in the world, china doesnt even come close to those numbers

  • Glenn Beck: Hypocrisy Expert. As in: I'm such a hypocrite, I'm an expert in it by now. Love it.
