  • @selenastar7 If you haven't made the icing yet, I'll tell you that this is NOT a sweet icing by nature. It is a rich, creamy icing because of the butter content. If it is the sweetness you are worried about, don't; it's not too sweet. I thought you were worried about the cost because of the $ you put in your comment. I don't like to disagree with people, but in reality if you are trying to save money, the cost of the 1/4 c of sugar you would omit is likely not even a nickel. Try it; it's good!

  • @SweetWiseInc So, by 1/4 of a cup? Because, I don't want the buttercream waaaay too sweet.

  • @selenastar7 Not by much; cutting out too much will throw off the stabilization of the icing.

  • @indirasap I think a single batch would be plenty. It makes about 8 cups of icing.
