This is one of the songs from Aamir Khan's new film Ghajini.

I saw this at a film festival and was frustrated because people were laughing at the subtitles. I have no clue why the people who intitially subbed it the way that they did because they worded it very poorly.

I downloaded and re-subbed the song so people can see that the translation in the movie is not the greatest.

If you haven't seen the movie yet, when you do you'll see why I re-did this!

I hope you enjoy it!

  • Nothing translates well to English. I'm a Spanish speaker and this song is just beautiful. I figured the translation isnt right.

  • @LaTuaCantante88 I don't think anything translates well into English for the most part either. But these subtitles aren't wrong, not entirely correct for a few words, but still not completely wrong. =/

Have you seen the original ones from the film? I don't know who did them, but they suck. Ruined a beautiful song, in my opinion. I had no other choice than to fix it, even with my few booboos. ;)

  • the translation is wrong. aisa nahi hai jaisa isne translate kiya

  • @zizy30 I showed this to my friend from India and he said it was good except a few words. He didn't mention which words for some reason, but he liked it more than the original subtitles in the movie and was proud of me.

Such a gorgeous song with really awful subtitles. Even with the minor mistakes, these are much better. Just my opinion.

  • how u say crave in hindi

  • The phrase 'hai guzarish' actually translates to 'I request you' or 'I beseech you'.

I only used 'crave' because it is a synonym to both and I thought it sounded better. haha

So I hope that maybe helps?
