Did you break the world record?
cmckaycm 2 years ago
nope, but I got to 5.83 Ghz on this run.
With liquid nitrogen and an e8600 (instead of the e8500 here), I got to 6.261 Ghz =)

the world record is like 7.5 ghz
arsenedevos 2 years ago
@arsenedevos actually, the world record is ~8.1Ghz on a Cedar Mill P4. But this is faster for basically all computational tasks; it has 2 cores and each one is much more power ful than the WR CPU

@eligray The WR now is with Cedar mill p4 347 at 8199mhz , with a fully modded p35-t2r , i got with p4 631 5955 mhz , for it you need a good pot , dice sucks with it .

@overclock1366 Very nice! and I'm sorta surprised to hear it was on a DFI board... I've heard that the old commando boards were the best. I've got an F1EE and LN2 now, so I should have fun at MIT next year! (hoping for unlimited free LN2)
