  • What do you mean muscle "doesn't burn that much calories"?! Bullshit! Muscle does actually burn calories hence why more muscular people can eat more for maintenance without gaining weight. Fat on the other hand burns zero calories.

  • @86f Muscle and fat both burn calories, if they're biologically active... neither tissue is remarkable in their caloric drain, however. Muscle does more? Sure, three times as many calories as fat actually (so, six.)

More muscular people can eat more for maintenance because either they do the training to require it, or have the thyroid that demands it... or, I suppose, take the drugs to make their thyroid demand it.

  • were you able to keep the weight off when you finished Intermittent fasting?

  • @oicwydt I haven't stopped.

  • strength training will preserve your muscle good luck

  • @iamadumpling Yepyep, that's exactly why I'm doing it! Thank you much :)

Why is it that the vast majority of these YouTube dieting clips are from people who do NOT look like they needed to lose weight in the first place?

  • You need too loose 20 pounds too loose ten pounds.. 50 percent of it is probably water weight! Anyway, One question...I went on the master cleanse diet and lost 10 pounds but gained 5 pounds of water and food in intestines weight... unfortunately I hit a plateau and I can't seem to loose any more weight! Help! I'm stuck at 122 and even if I fast, I can't get rid of any more weight.. any advice? why can't i loose more weight!

  • just a suggestion, you could try to go for more of a recomp rather then a straight cut if you dont have much muscle to begin with. It would make your long term goals a hella lot easier for you

  • its going tooo take you a long time to build muscle after you loose it, you might not even build muscle at all

  • for some great tips check out the Mercola.com website on intermittent fasting...adding in Peak8 exercises and a very good quality whey protein...

  • @86f It burns calories, but it doesn't burn that much. You need a lot of muscle mass for it to make a huge difference. One pound of muscle only burns around 5 extra calories.

  • may of come from your colon
