John Lennon - Late 1979-Early 1980 Part 3

Girls and Boys, Take 5 (Late 1979-Early 1980, TD)

Girls and Boys, Take 6 (Late 1979-Early 1980, TD) -- This was featured at the beginning of the biopic John Lennon: Imagine which was released in 1988. In somewhat of a shocking move, the song is erroneously referred to as Real Love on the soundtrack. At the time this demo was recorded in late 1979 or early 1980 it was still known as Girls and Boys. The song would not formally be called Real Love by John until his trip to Bermuda to July 1980. This song is also erroneously titled Real Love on the recent compilation called Acoustic. I guess maybe more people would identify with it as Real Love as opposed to Girls and Boys.

Watching the Wheels, take 1 (Late 1979-Early 1980, TD) -- This is the first, albeit brief, take of Watching the Wheels. The next few videos will be exclusively about Watching the Wheels. This demo of Watching the Wheels and all subsequent versions of it in the next two or three videos were all recorded back to back to back to back in one sitting. These will be compiled in the order that they were originally recorded.

i recently found a video, its called the t-mobile singing in tarflag somthing sqare in london i think and its just a bunch of random people singing along to alot of diffrent songs, there are about 15,000 people in the crowed and, i think this is amazing, and its like John's message still lives on, he would happy! it brought a smile to my face
