@kexpradio pretty sure what you are criticizing isn't just an American phenomenon. UK's radio stations are exactly like this, Germany's radio & tv play main stream crap b/c it is main stream. We have underground stations not to mention they just passed a bill in the states demanding more stations to allow "smaller" bands to get air time....quit with the blame America first cliche, it's so tiresome.

@pnkflyd83 It's lowest common denominator. They exist in every country. Thank god for them i say ,it keeps me from bumping into degenerates too often. Could u imagine if those people started turning up at your pubs, clubs and gig venues. It would be a grim world indeed i say, It's bad enough passing these people on the street!!!! I observe them from afar through a powerful telescope when i want to induce vomitting. Yes i'm a people person.
